Boom Man

 |
Boom Man is a "far out" comedy written and directed by Steven Wright.
Many of those who
have merely seen the cover page of the script have been hospitalized due to laughter-related
injuries!
Jim O'Brien plays the lead character Alex, a writer who is not looking
for love, but love finds him everywhere he goes.
Boom Man also features original music by Jim O'Brien. The lead actor
also has songs on the soundtrack? Is there nothing Jim
O'Brien can't do? No, there is not.
Writer director Steve Wright is a creative genius, and soon to be one of the
hottest commodities in Hollywood. Let's hope he takes JimO' along for the
ride!

Living to be a Hundred

|
Drama, Drama,
Drama! - Directed by Jack Glisson. "Living to be a Hundred" is a
psychological drama set in the sweltering heat of the American Southwest.
When a man with a murky past enters the lives of a young couple, friendship and marriage are put to the test. Which will survive? Tensions
mount as the three are driven towards a shocking conclusion.
"Living to be a Hundred" is
based on a
short story by critically acclaimed author Robert Boswell. The story is included
in Boswell's book of the same name.
Jim stars as Graham Castellani, and pulls off some pretty intense drama.

Anne Marie Howard stars
as Grahams wife, Linda. Anne Marie is a soap opera star, and you can
see her a million times a day as the spokesperson on the Ditech.com
commercials. She also does quite a few infomercials.
Anne Marie used to be the lady on the Maalox commercials holding the clip board
and walking through the hospital saying, "In hospitals, speed
counts..." She really is a fantastic actress and a lovely
person. In an ironic twist of life, Jim used to make fun of that
commercial in his comedy act long before he met Anne Marie. Small
world! Any-who... to find out more about Anne Marie
Howard,
visit her
website. She has some footage from this
film on her site that includes Jim O'Brien in a "touching"
moment. I'm serious! When you get to her home page, click on
"FILM." |

The Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special
|
Jim
O'Brien plays a bartender in outer space who is spared the wrath of D.C Comic's "baddest
Intergalactic bounty
hunter!" We have a wonderful still to show you from this film. There is a great scene
featuring Jim with a week and a half of beard stubble spitting into a glass
and wiping it out with a dirty towel. Nice!

Jim O'Brien says, "This film was a lot of fun
because of the 'over the top' comic book style. I got to wear a
gas mask for a whole day and have fake dirt smeared all over me for a
week."
As you look at this picture, realize that Jim O'Brien is 6'1'' and 185
lbs. Now look at Lobo. This dude is HUGE!
Fortunately the actor who played Lobo,
Andrew
Bryniarski, is
a really cool guy who managed to not snap JimO's neck. |
